Test 4 Free in Atlanta, Georgia, strives to make COVID-19 testing available and accessible for all people. The testing center is a community approach to reducing the spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which is the virus that causes COVID-19. The team provides information and testing for patients of all ages, from infants to adults.

The team at Test 4 Free includes health care professionals and community leaders working together to keep their citizens safe, healthy, and informed. The team stays up-to-date on the latest information about COVID-19, including disease risk factors, symptoms, and testing.

The testing center uses best practices to reduce the risk of an outbreak in the community. The team encourages COVID-19 testing for patients experiencing common symptoms associated with the highly contagious virus, such as shortness of breath, fever, or loss of taste or smell.

For COVID testing, the team offers the nasal test or nasal swab. They also do viral tests using the molecular-based rT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) test because it carries the highest sensitivity for detecting COVID-19 and reduces the risk of a false negative.
